Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the SiteStakk platform operated by Yagni Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By using the API, CLI, MCP interface, or any other part of the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SiteStakk is a static site hosting platform. You upload site files via our API, CLI, or MCP interface. We host and serve those files. We provide automatic TLS, image optimisation, favicon generation, forms, analytics, and other features as described in our documentation.

2. Accounts

  • You create an account by calling the signup API with a name and email address. An API key is returned immediately.
  • You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not share them publicly or commit them to version control.
  • One account per person or organisation. We may merge or remove duplicate accounts.
  • Email verification is required before custom domains will resolve. Unverified accounts can still deploy and preview sites.

3. Acceptable use

You may use SiteStakk to host static websites. You may not use it to:

  • Host or distribute malware, phishing pages, or deceptive content.
  • Distribute illegal content under the laws of England and Wales.
  • Send spam or abuse the forms feature to relay unsolicited messages.
  • Attempt to exploit, overload, or interfere with the platform or other tenants.
  • Resell hosting access without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action.

4. Your content

  • You own the content you upload. We do not claim any rights over your files.
  • By deploying to SiteStakk, you grant us a licence to store, serve, and process your files as needed to operate the service (e.g. image optimisation, favicon generation, sitemap generation).
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to publish the content you upload.

5. Service availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage.
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will give notice where practical.
  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

6. Pricing and payment

  • The free tier includes one site with all features. No time limit.
  • Paid tiers are billed monthly based on active site count. Pricing is published on our website.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing billing periods are honoured at the old price.
  • Sites exceeding the tier limit are billed at the overage rate published on the pricing page.

7. Termination

  • You may stop using the service at any time. Delete your sites via the API or contact us to delete your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
  • On termination, your site files will be removed from our servers. We are not obligated to retain or return data after account deletion.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteStakk and Yagni Ltd are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on your account at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
